RED BARN KATAHDINS

Welcome to our farm,  we have been raising Katahdin sheep since 1999.  For the last 7 years we have been participants in the NSIP (national sheep improvement program).  Our goal is to produce quality breeding ewes and maternal sires while not giving up on growth.  We are a grass based system with very little grain given once the lambs are weaned and out on pasture.  We rotational graze 12 padocks on 14 acres,  only worm as needed (adult ewes about once per year and lambs twice a year).
